So Darren came along once he saw his mate Cam having fun in his family photos.
I’ve noticed that many husbands don’t often like to get their photographs taken.
Here are some ideas to get husbands on board with family photography.
1. Show him pictures of other men having fun with their partner or family
One of the best ways to convince your husband to get photographs is to show him pictures of other guys having fun with their families.
Show him that other men do agree to family photography.
Show him it’s easy and fun.
Show him its outdoors and we move around and we we don’t have to pose too much.
Show him that if he comes along you will have some great family photos to keep forever .

2 Tell him about outdoor family photography.
I love doing outdoor photography because I think this allows a family to really be natural together.
Mum, Dad and the kids can play around together in a park or on the beach.
The kids can tear around if they like. It all makes for great family photos.
When you tell your husband about family photography, tell him about getting photos done outdoors.
He can play footie, chase the kids, and just have a fun time with whatever he enjoys.

3 Tell him he can wear what he wants!
I always recommend that people wear clothes they feel good in during a family photo session.
Tell your husband “Just wear what you would normally wear to the beach or the park.”
Whatever clothes make you and all of your family feel good is a great idea for your photos.
4 Lastly, put him in charge of having fun.
Put Dad in charge of making the kids laugh by playing around with them during the photo session.
Mums, Dads and kids playing together makes everyone look happy and makes family photos look fantastic.
Darren ended up a ‘star’ in his family photos.
His family photos are wonderful because once he was there, on the beach, he forgot about me and just had fun.
